Amana Bank Continues Expansion Drive with its New Branch at Kuliyapitiya

Amana Bank has further extended its footprint with the opening of its Kuliyapitiya Branch on 20 February 2013 at No.215, 1/1, Main Street, Kuliyapitiya. The inauguration of the Bank's seventeenth branch in Kuliyapitiya was marked under the honourable patronage of the Mayor of Kuliyapitiya, Hon Lakshman Adikari, Managing Director/CEO of Amana Bank Mr Faizal Salieh and Chief Operating Officer of the Bank Mr Mohamed Azmeer.

Addressing the gathering on this occasion Amana Bank's Managing Director/CEO, Mr Faizal Salieh said "Being an agricultural heartland with untapped natural resources, Kuliyapitiya is a fast developing area. We have witnessed a growth especially involving small and medium scale businesses and the people are making a rapid foray by employing their entrepreneurial skills. Our main focus at Kuliyapitiya is to provide our customers with unique financial products and solutions based on the principles of equity, fairness and justice and foster the development of entrepreneurs"

In his speech Mr Adikari said "Amana Bank has been instrumental in bringing foreign investments into the country and I have no doubt that the people and businesses in the area would be benefitted by the presence of the Bank".

With the opening of the Kuliyapitiya branch, residents could enjoy a range of products and services such as Current accounts, Savings accounts, Foreign Currency Accounts (NRFC/RFC/RNNFC), Children's Savings accounts, Term Investment accounts, Housing Finance, Leasing, SME Banking, Corporate Banking, Trade Services and Treasury Services. The branch also houses an ATM machine providing 24x7 access to customers.

The Bank has aggressive plans to expand its reach this year, to introduce new products and services and to offer more conveniences to its customers.
