Amana Bank empowers future leaders with Executive Leadership Development Programme

Amana Bank April 7, 2025

Amana Bank is honoured to announce the completion of its inaugural Executive Leadership Development Programme (ELDP), an in-house, intensive 15-week training curriculum designed to identify and develop visionary leaders from within the organization. This program provided junior executives with the opportunity to develop essential leadership skills, gain hands-on experience and transition into executive roles within the Bank. A ceremony was held recently at BMICH to recognise 15 individuals who successfully completed the programme under the distinguish patronage of the Bank’s Managing Director/CEO Mohamed Azmeer along with members of the Management Committee.

ELDP combines job rotational assignments, on-the-job training, specialized training, interactive workshops and project-based learning to enhance leadership skills, strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities. Designed for interactive learning, real-time collaboration and networking, the program witnessed participants exposed to operations and business activities across multiple departments and units, while each participant was assigned a mentor to guide and monitor their progress.

Speaking at the event, Amana Bank’s Managing Director and CEO Mohamed Azmeer stated, “At Amana Bank, we believe in the power of developing leaders from within. The Executive Leadership Development Programme is a testament to our commitment to nurturing talent and empowering our team members to take on greater responsibilities. We are excited to see these talented individuals grow and step into new leadership roles, shaping the future of the Bank.”
