Amana Bank Strengthens Regional Access in Kurunegala with Paragahadeniya SBC

Amana Bank has further strengthened its people-friendly and development-focused banking footprint with the opening of its 42nd Self Banking Centre (SBC) in Paragahadeniya, a key township serving the surrounding agricultural, trading, and residential communities in the Kurunegala District. Responding to the long-standing need for convenient and accessible banking facilities in the area, the new SBC, located at No. 192, Kandy Road, Paragahadeniya, provides customers with 24/7 access to essential banking services, ensuring greater ease and flexibility for individuals, entrepreneurs, and small businesses. The centre's opening received a warm welcome from the Paragahadeniya community, reflecting the strong relationship built with local residents and businesses.

The Paragahadeniya Self Banking Centre offers customers round-the-clock access to key banking services, including cash withdrawals, cash deposits, cheque deposits, and balance inquiries through automated banking facilities. These services enable customers to manage their banking needs securely and conveniently at any time, without being restricted by traditional banking hours, thereby supporting the day-to-day financial requirements of the local community.

The opening ceremony was attended by Amana Bank’s Senior Vice President – Business Banking, Irshad Iqbal; Assistant Vice President - Central Region & Business Proposition, Azam Ameer; Head of Retail Sales & Acquisition Channels, Mohamed Asmil; and Kurunegala Branch Manager,Rinos Kalam. The event was also graced by the presence of the Chairman of the Mawathagama Pradeshiya Sabha, D. Thushara Wijesekara; the Divisional Secretary - Mawathagama, D. P. S. Kumara; the Officer-in-Charge of the Mawathagama Police Station; and local business representatives and area residents.
