Amana Bank opened its latest branch at Kaduruwela on 27 March 2013, offering its unique financial services and solutions to the people of Kaduruwela. The commitment to continuously expand Amana Bank's branch network across many cities and towns is reiterated with the opening of the Bank's 19th branch. The Branch which is located at No 379, Main Street, Kaduruwela is Amana Bank's first in the North Central Province. The opening ceremony was attended by the Chief Guest, Mr Premasiri Munasinghe, Chairman of the Thamankaduwa Pradeshiya Sabha, Ven Kaduruwela Dharmapala Thero, Chief Incumbent of the Kaduruwela Jayanthi Piriven Viharaya, the Bank's Managing Director/CEO, Mr Faizal Salieh; Chief Operating Officer, Mr Mohamed Azmeer; Vice President, Branch Operations and Business Support, Mr M M S Quvylidh; members of the Bank's Corporate Management; Customers and other invitees.
Addressing the gathering at the opening ceremony, the Bank's Managing Director/CEO, Mr Faizal Salieh said "Kaduruwela is a cosmopolitan town and an important commercial hub which, in recent times has witnessed rapid economic development. With our entry into Kaduruwela, we are looking forward to establishing a firm footprint in the North Central Province and serve the local business community with our unique financial model based on the principles of equity, fairness and justice. Kaduruwela is the 5th branch to open in the past 3 months in addition to the Bank's new branches in Dehiwala, Nintavur, Kuliyapitiya and Eravur. The Bank has aggressive plans to expand its reach this year and introduce new products and services to offer greater convenience to its customers.
