Amana Bank now in Eravur

Amana Bank opened its Eravur branch on 12 March 2013 at No 108/5, Punnakuda Road, Eravur. This is the Bank's eighteenth branch and seventh in the Eastern Province.

The Bank's Managing Director/CEO, Mr Faizal Salieh; Chief Operating Officer, Mr Mohamed Azmeer; Vice President, Branch Operations and Business Support, Mr M M S Quvylidh; other members of the Bank's Corporate Management; Customers; and other invitees participated at this event.

Speaking on this occasion Mr Salieh said "We are delighted to mark our arrival in Eravur today and further strengthen our reach in the Eastern Province where there is substantial demand for Sharia-based financial solutions. Through the Eravur branch, our main focus is to support the small and medium scale entrepreneurs, agricultural farmers and livestock breeders to enrich their business potential through our asset-based banking model"

Having opened four new branches in the last two months, at Dehiwala, Nintavur, Kuliyapitiya and now Eravur, the Bank is expanding its presence in the Western, Central, Southern and Eastern Provinces. It has aggressive plans to expand its reach this year, introduce new products and services and to offer more convenient solutions to its customers. The Eravur branch will provide a wide range of products and services such as Current accounts, Savings accounts, Foreign Currency accounts (NRFC/RFC/RNNFC), Children's Savings accounts, Term Investment accounts, Housing Finance, Leasing, SME Banking, Corporate Banking, Trade Services, Treasury Services and Safety Lockers. The branch also houses an ATM machine providing 24-hour access to customers.
