Amana Bank continued to strengthen its customer-centric banking network with the opening of its 45th Self Banking Centre (SBC) in Delthota, further enhancing access to modern and convenient banking services in the Central Province.
Located at No. 3/2, Bopitiya Road, Delthota, the newly opened Self Banking Centre offers 24/7 access to essential banking facilities including cash withdrawals, cash deposits, and cheque deposits, ensuring greater convenience for residents, entrepreneurs, and businesses in the area. With this addition, the Bank’s Self Banking Centre footprint in the Central Province now stands at four, comprising Madawala, Galhinna, Gelioya, and the newly opened centre.
The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of distinguished guests including Mr. Ranjith – OIC, Galaha Police Station, and Mr. Mohamed Aslam – Principal, Deltota Central College, together with community leaders, business representatives and area residents. Representing Amana Bank at the occasion were Azam Ameer – Assistant Vice President – Region 2, Mohamed Asmil – Head of Retail Sales & Acquisition Channels, and Mohamed Imran – Manager – Offsite SBC Operations, along with other officials of the Bank.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Azam Ameer stated “We see great potential in Delthota, and we are pleased to be part of the towns progress by providing accessible banking services that empower individuals, families, and businesses in the area.”
As part of the opening celebrations, Amana Bank also carried out a community engagement by distributing stationery items to primary schools, reinforcing its commitment towards social responsibility and community development.
