With the objective of establishing a strong financial foundation for children, Amãna Bank over the years has worked towards inculcating the savings habit amongst children by motivating and rewarding parents and children to start savings early and grow their savings through a variety of gift schemes, offers and encouragements.
Having concluded a successful promotion in 2017, the highly anticipated Grow Your Balance program for 2018 was introduced with rewards categorised for 3 age brackets, ensuring the gifts received are relevant and beneficial to each child.
All rewards are based on new funds deposited to the account during the promotion period which is from 1 May to 31 December 2018. Customers who grow their accounts by Rs 5,000/-, Rs 10,000/-, Rs 25,000/-, Rs 50,000/- or Rs 100,000/- will have over 17 exciting gift options to choose from, with a single child walking away with 5 different gift items in total. Gifts are categorised for children aged 0 to 3 years, 4 to 7 years and 8 to 12 years.
Upon growing the account by Rs.5,000/- the child would be rewarded with either a Building Block Set, Connect 4 Game, or a Badminton Set and once the child surpasses the Rs.10,000/- growth target, the child would be gifted with either a Learning Pad, a Mini Golf Set or a Word Game. The child will be additionally rewarded with either an advanced Block Set, Walkie Talkie or Archery Set for growing the account by Rs. 25,000/- and once the Rs. 50,000/- target is achieved they will walk away with either a Train Set, Memory Game, Dynamo Torch or Volcano Kit. Account holders who are successful in growing their account by Rs. 100,000/- will be rewarded the grand prize of a Stroller, Tricycle, Scooter, Inflatable Pool or a Drone. Further, customers opening a new children savings account with a standing order during the promotional period will receive an Art Set.
